YAY!! PEANUT BUTTER PIE!!

DOES ANYONE NOT LIKE PEANUT BUTTER PIE?

THIS RECIPE IS NOT ONLY EASY, BUT IT IS REALLY DELICIOUS TOO.
I AM NOT SURE WHERE THIS RECIPE ORIGINATED FROM. YEARS AGO MY SISTER IN LAW, CARMEN, USE TO SELL LONGABERGER BASKETS AS A SIDELINE, SO FOR CHRISTMAS ONE YEAR SHE GAVE ME THEIR RECIPE BASKET.

NICE, RIGHT??

YOU COULDN'T FIT ONE MORE RECIPE IN THIS IF YOU TRIED!!

YOU CAN BARELY TAKE ONE OUT.
IN THIS TREASURE TROVE ARE RECIPES FROM EVERY COOKIE EXCHANGE, GRANDMOTHERS' FAVORITES, TRADED RECIPES FROM FRIENDS, PAMPERED CHEF RECIPES THAT CAME WITH THEIR PRODUCTS...YOU NAME IT, BUT THE PEANUT BUTTER PIE RECIPE IS ON A SCRAP PIECE OF PAPER IN WRITING I DON'T IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZE...SO IF THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR SEES THIS I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE YOU CREDIT.

YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A CHOCOLATE CRUMB CRUST, YOU CAN MAKE ONE, BUT FOR EASE AND SPEED BUY ONE...IF SOMEONE DOESN'T LIKE IT, THEY DON'T HAVE TO EAT IT, DO THEY???
BEAT TOGETHER 1/2 BRICK OF CREAM CHEESE, 1/4C. PEANUT BUTTER, 1/4C. SUGAR AND 1 TSP. VANILLA UNTIL IT IS SMOOTH AND CREAMY.
FOLD IN 1 CONTAINER OF COOL WHIP.
THE ORIGINAL RECIPE SAYS TO DRIZZLE WITH HERSHEY SYRUP AND FREEZE FOR 4 HOURS, BUT I REALLY LIKE MY PIES TO BE PRETTY, SO I WILL PIPE LITTLE FLORETS OF COOL WHIP ON TOP AND DEPENDING ON MY MOOD WILL SPRINKLE COOKIE CRUMBS OR SHAVED CHOCOLATE ON TOP OF THAT.
MINI PEANUT BUTTER CUPS ARE QUITE NICE TOO!!
YOU WILL NEED TO THAW ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING, BUT HOW EASY WAS THAT??
I HOPE YOU'LL ENJOY THIS RECIPE, AND AS ALWAYS HAVE A HAPPY!!
